In late April our fearless PL, Dave Lukoskie, decided to visit the Eagle River, Alaska VFW 9785 for his tenth anniversary. He grudgingly took his wife, but really had ulterior motives. You see, in Alaska, men outnumber women three to one. Unfortunately, the men who inhabit Alaska are a unique breed, which is to say different. OK, wierd. Women have a saying in Alaska about marriage. It goes - "The odds are good, but the goods are odd". So what was Ranger Dave's REAL motovation? Well, I'll give ya a clue... This building is the first checkpoint for the Iditarod race... What was Dave Really looking for? (Remember, he's from California) Well...
