SKY DANCE

Silver seracs,
Outlined in blue,
Crumble into gaping jaws
Of bottomless crevasses ...
Burying the Past
In an avalanche of ice and snow.

Shear granite walls
Casting shadows of doom
Stand silently still,
Yet mock future intentions.

Memories fade ...
Dreams drift out of reach ...

Now is the moment to breathe!

Realizing that there is no Living
Apart from Life,
And knowing that precious few have the awareness
The winds proclaim;

The high alpine Meadow sways to the symphony
That resounds from the great halls of the Mountain
While glacier waters leap in rythmic cascades,
All in total abandonment of sharing the wisdom
That has been created deep within.

Only man
In his ignorance
Has the intelligence to ignore
The simple Truth the rest of creation celebrates.
