We're a group of former Rangers keeping in contact through an E-Mail Listserver that was set up in California in 1996; the group has typically been 100-200 Rangers, and probably more than 500 have "passed through." We've organized reunions in Reno in 1997 and 1998. The listerver has been set up by Pete Parker (C-2/75, '75-'79), who continues to provide diligent and courteous service through this airborne-ranger.com website. Pete also hosts this reunion site (thanks to Steve Davidson too); the Site Page Author is Wayne Biggs (A-2/75, '80-'83). The group has included one of Darby's Rangers from WWII; most of the men on the list have served with the RVN Ranger Companies and LRRP units, or the Ranger Battalions from the '70s, '80s, and '90s. Through coordination with the 2/75 S-5, the Fort Lewis events are being sponsored under hospitality extended by the Officers and Men of the 2nd Ranger Battalion. This Web Site and the schedule of events will be reviewed by 2/75 Command Staff to seek approval, but this is not an official U.S. Army internet web site. Liaison will be continued to post changes and maintain current information.
